Hi i'm Louis Deslouches,

Call me Lou

I'm a Haitian-American designer from South Florida, where culture, resilience, and creativity shaped how I see the world. Building has always been second nature to me—from furniture and Lego sets as a kid to brands, campaigns, and experiences as a professional.

My career has taken me through print production, music touring, entrepreneurship, and corporate marketing, each teaching me how to balance creativity with execution. Today, I create work that is clear, memorable, and purposeful—design that not only captures attention but leaves a lasting impression.

I used to be the shy kid who struggled to connect with people. Now, I can spend an entire night at a networking event talking with strangers, learning their stories, and finding inspiration in how differently people see the world.

My father gave me his name, and with that came a deep sense of pride and responsibility. Everything I create carries that with it. I aim to make work that feels intentional, memorable, and strong enough to leave people wondering who was behind it?

It must be Lou.

education.

I began my college journey at Florida Gulf Coast University in 2016. During those four years, my primary focus wasn’t academics... it was DJing, designing flyers, and organizing parties. By 2021, I felt a sense of emptiness and decided to return to school. I enrolled at Eastern Gateway Community College, where I earned my Associate’s degree in Business Management with a concentration in Finance. Now I am currently enrolled at Miami Ad school on an Art Director tract to sharpen my skills and elevate my portfolio to be a strong reflection of myself.
